We Settle Cases! We have a 95% success
rate-something we are very proud of! Accolent Mediation
and Alternative Dispute Resolution is located in Carver MN. We are 5 minutes from the Carver County Government Center in Chaska
and about 15 minutes from the Scott County Government Center in Shakopee. We are the only mediation center in Carver County.
We provide mediation services for anyone who needs to resolve a dispute. We handle family law cases and civil law
cases.
Mediation is an alternative to litigation. It can save time, money and reduce stress. It is informal and
the best part is that you are in control of the outcome! The mediator is there to facilitate discussion and to help you find
a way to resolve your conflict ON YOUR OWN. We find that most mediation sessions end in a settlement and the parties are more
prone to keep their agreements because they had a say in the final decision (as opposed to having a judge tell them what to
do).
If you have a conflict and would like to settle it with mediation instead of going through court, please call
us. We will be happy to contact the other party to discuss the benefits of mediating the dispute. We do not charge any fees
until we have both sides agree to mediate.
Our office is located at: 208 N Broadway Carver MN 55315

What is mediation?
Mediation is an informal process to dispute resolution. You will meet with
a mediator and the parties will attempt to reach a mutually acceptable agreement. Both parties get to the opportunity to speak
and be heard. The mediator is impartial and will not advocate for either side, nor will he/she make a decision for you. It
is not like a court hearing, there are no judges and no court procedures. You just sit down and talk and try to work things
out. It really can be that simple. Sometimes people need to speak alone to the mediator. You wil be taken to a separate area
or room. The mediator will not discuss-with the other party-anything you told him/her in a private meeting, unless you agree
to it. Everything that happens in a mediation session is confidential! There is no public record, unlike court. In the
majority of mediated cases, both parties keep their end of the agreement. Mostly because they had a say in the outcome!
